SIR WALTER BUFFALO
SIR WALTER BUFFALO is a soft leaf, winter active, low thatch, environmentally responsible buffalo turf. SIR WALTER was born and bred in Australia under Australian conditions and has excellent drought tolerance compared to other buffalo varieties. Because SIR WALTER BUFFALO is winter active, it maintains its colour longer and does not develop a purple tinge in winter like other buffalo types - goes very well in shady area as well as sunny positions. See lawncare.

CARE: Very little maintenance and mowing on an as-needs basis.

WINDSOR GREEN COUCH
WINDSOR GREEN COUCH is a hybrid. This means that it has to be grafted from two types of couch to give it better properties. It has a very fine blade and a deep green colour. It is a very soft grass and responds well to constant fertilising, watering and sunlight. WINDSOR GREEN COUCH does not go dormant in winter like other couches, so keeps its colour during winter. Needs 4 hrs sunlight.

CARE: Mow weekly. Fertilise at start of each season.

DURBAN
DURBAN is one of the most shade tolerant grasses on the market (80% - 90%). It is a light green coloured lawn with a broad leaved structure, and it is very soft to the touch. Durban is best suited to areas which are very heavily shaded by trees, buildings etc., where most other turfs will not grow.

KIKUYU
Very vigorous grower, so quick to recover from wear or damage. Retains its colour during winter. Does suffer from Army Worm damage. This is one of their main food sources. Kikuyu doesn't cope in shade areas. Needs average 7hrs sunlight.

CARE: High maintenance

PLATEAU COUCH
PLATEAU is a new strain of couch developed in Australia.  It has much of the same variety of the same hard wearing and good looking characteristics of other couch varieties, yet differs greatly in its growth pattern. "Plateau" is so named for its unique trait of strong lateral growth and the lower frequency of mowing required to maintain optimum appearance.  The reduced maintinance requirements of Plateau can provide significant cost savings for sports grounds anf golf fairways.  Plateau is very shade tolerant, has low invasion characteristics, excellent wear and winter colour retention with good disease and pest resistance.  Plateau has a diverse range of applications and is currently being used in many high profile sporting facilities across Australia.  Plateau is protected by PBR and Growing Certification making it guarenteed to be of pure strain at time of purchase.
